Some carriers don't give out the codes to their phones so they can be used with another carrier. The reason being if the original phone still has unpaid balances due, you can't use that phone unless balances are paid in full.

Devil card? Please tell me more how this works, in years of unlocking/refurbishing mobiles I haven't come across this.

There is NO IMEI unlcoking option for this phones (as yet)

You will need a unlocking box (expensive) or a cable+software to unlcock it, I would do it for free but I probably don't live round you

Best bet: take it to a phone shop (not a chain shop but an independent one) and they'll do it for about the same price as the cable, maybe cheaper.

Edit: thefly77 please show me where you got this "devil card" and I would like to see proof it works.

U put it into your phone its like a small chip for your phone but its very very slim so it goes in with your sim card in to phone and it burns itself into your phone great job you get I on eBay only about 5 dollars
