I assume you have Outlook set up for your mail account?

Click on tools, options then mail setup

Now click on Send/Receive and put check marks in
"Schedule an automatic send/receive every _ min"

And click close, Now for this to work, you will have to have outlook open or sitting in taskbar so that it can check on schedule you set

No no no,, I'm talking about the notifications in the botom corner, Outlook only notifies on the Default inbox, and its not the set default, it's the default personal folders... but only POP messages go to that inbox, because they are the only ones that are actually downloaded.

I know there are some addons/plugins out there but I can't find them.

Here are some apps for notification
Taskbar Imap Notification - Gmail/Hotmail/Yahoo Email Notification Tool Email Notification for POP3, IMAP (SSL), MAPI

If you go to Google and Google - outlook addons, 1.5 mil hits

Don't know of one specific, hopefully someone will be able to post name of addon which you refer

I GOT IT!! No addons, Orignaly I set the rule for items with my address in the TO or CC lines, I changed it to all messages, by not checking anything, and WA LA, I now get the popups in the corner,,

So if anyone is wondering, for IMAP notification, just set a rule for all messages to display and it Should work.

    Thanks SEA
