    Calculate Projected Revenue
    Good Day,

    I would like to know how to calculate the projected revenue for a month. The following months and reveune are provided:

    $19,460,242.66 (Oct 07)
    $19,336,580.53 (Nov 07)
    $18,331,530.26 (Dec 07)
    $19,522,640.39 (Jan 08)
    $18,272,710.32 (Feb 08)
    $16,593,777.63 (Mar 08)
    $18,254,308.33 (Apr 08)
    $18,406,684.16 (May 08)
    $18,500,537.14 (Jun 08)
    $17,804,288.32 (Jul 08)
    $18,484,895.87 (Aug) 08)
    ?? (Sep 08)

    Given the above information only, what would be a reasonable projection for Sep 08. A good formula for calculating this would be appreciated. Thanks!

    You need to do a regression analysis. Excel has a feature for this that will provide a formula Y= mx +b, which will hold true over a relevant range, if you enter your parameters above.
