    Rates on mileage?
For a health care provider (self employed) what is the going rate for mileage? Seems should not only cover gas costs, but wear and tear on car, oil changes, replacement tires, and having to do car upkeep... which all costs... would $1.00 a mile be reasonable? I am now only charging .50 cents a mile, seems too low!

I usually take a lady for a round trip of 20 miles for her Dr. appts. And have a 2 hr. min. of $8.00 per hr... so $36.00 for my 2 hrs. of time and my car, gas, etc sounds like it is a fair amount. I would like to get some opinions. Thank you for your time.:)
