Won't be as active for a while.
    Hey everyone!

I'm sure the libs have not missed my commentary as of late, but I have not had the time to spend here as I would like to.

I found out last week that the company that I do about 90% of my contract work for has been sold, and I'm out of luck.

I'm pounding the streets, searching for something else.

If anyone here knows of anyone in need of a good Collection Manager or Asset Recovery Specialist, I'd appreciate you letting me know.

Since the wife and I are not totally happy where we are now, relocation is a very real option.

In fact, we are getting our home ready to put on the market to see if we can make plans to find a new place to settle in, for the rest of our lives.

I'll touch base here when I can, I do really miss the daily fix though!

    My best to everyone here!

Can't speak for the libs on the board but you're going to be missed on the legal threads - in fact, I miss the sparring now that we agree on almost everything! Some good, thought provoking discussions went on there.

Sorry to hear this has happened to you - no question, no one is safe in this economy. I trust you'll land on your feet, in a better position.

No words of wisdom or referrals for you but I do wish you well, very well in fact, and trust you'll pop in now and then (and give me heck on the legal threads!) and let "us" know how you're doing.

PS - If you're going to be gone for a little while, how about if I provide you with a list of names of people I think you should take with you and possibly lose along the way?

I have enjoyed reading your answers and wish you the best. Bad news is the state of the housing market but the collection industry should be growing in this economy.

I, too, will miss seeing you around the threads. I am sorry this has happened to you, but remember, when one door closes many others open up.

    Good luck to you.
