Pick a spot, maybe one or two tiles and apply a generous coat of tung oil. The first coat of pure tung oil must be mixed with a little mineral spirits in order to dry. Tung oil is food safe. Should seal the pours of the tile if the glasing is worn away. Should also restore some gloss.
