    Folder option malfunction
    Whenever I try to change the HIDE FOLDER option from FOLDER OPTION, it doesn't work. I click on SHOW HIDDEN FILES AND FOLDERS and then click OK and nothing happens. When I go back to FOLDER OPTIONS, DO NOT SHOW HIDDEN FILES AND FOLDERS is again selected. Any help.

    Well, then some sort of malware is at work on your system.

    There is a reg file you can merge to fix the settings:

    But the malware is going to have to be located and killed or this is going to go on endlessly.
