    The Baptised name of Jackson
    Hi, there,

Anyone out there can suggest a name for baptising if the boy's given name is Jackson? By the way, is "Jason" the short form of "Jackson"?

    Thanks,

How about Jacob? It would be Biblical. Jason would also work and also be Biblical, but I don't think that it's the shortened form of Jackson.

    Hey, you're welcome! :)

Here are some other Biblical names for males that also begin with the letter "J". Although, they most likely didn't begin with that letter in the Bible centuries ago, but are generally excepted today as okay to have originated in the Bible, if one is wanting some sort of name associated with a person's baptism as being of Biblical origin.

    Jorden
    Jordan
    Joshua
    Judah
    Joel
    Jonathan
    Joseph

Hopefully, others will also come along to respond to your question!

    You're welcome again!

In my opinion, I would go with Jacob because it's close to Jackson in the sound of it.

But, I am still hopeful that there will be other opinions concerning this matter!

Would you get your children baptised? Why? [ 6 Answers ]

My friend and I were discussing this subject because she said that she got her daughter baptised at 10 months and she is about to baptise her son that is only a month old. She says that it isn't a religios reason she had to do it so I am not bashing her beliefs or nothing, but what do you think?...
