    Portable air conditioner
    Does anyone know about recharging the freon in a portable air conditioner? Someone is selling one on craigslist, but says that it needs a recharge, but he doesn't know where or how to get the freon. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

    Hello beauty!

    It is not normal that an aircon requires a recharge. So if one requires that, there is/was somewhere a leak.
    Do you really want to take the risk that you have to pay for a recharge, and later for another recharge after a repair? My advice : do not purchase this one !

    Thanks for the advice. He's only selling it for 60 bucks, so I kind of knew there had to be something wrong with it. Portable ac's are expensive. Thanks again!
