Origins of Handwriting?
Where does a person's handwriting derive? What determines the preference for cursive or print? What determines the sloppiness or neatness of one penmanship?

Hi, Momma!
First please, why are you asking these questions? I studied calligraphy with the late Father Catich Father Catich Calligraphy - Google Search He did teach me a lot about how hand writing came about and evolved the way that it did.
Thanks!

Thank you, and I don't understand what you are trying to say. I'm not asking what YOUR preference is. I'm asking what makes either someone's preference.

No that is the most common way people choose because humans have a need to be as perfect as possible.

Originally, all Western-World handwriting was evolved from the Roman alphabet. That's the kind of writing that people use who speak and write English. It evolved into cursive by people writing sloppily.
Are you interested in learning how that came about?

I would actually disagree. I see more people with sloppy handwriting as people are generally in a hurry. People want to be as perfect as possible? Kidding?

Give me a few moments please, Momma? I'm waiting for some guy to respond on another thread about warrants being issued and I would like to help him before he leaves. I'm sure that you know all about how that goes when being on multiple threads at the same time...
Thanks!

That's correct, nickeknew! It's best to stay on the topic of what's already been started in a thread. This place isn't a chat room, so not "anything goes" on whatever thread people are on. If you are wanting to post further about dogs, then it would be best to post it on the post that you started about your poor dog. I'm not trying to be harsh with you, but just trying to maintain the integrity of this site in the way that it is supposed to work for the benefit of all.
You already know that we care here about you and what goes on in your life a lot! :)
Thanks!
