Sick of black hair
I dyed my hair black back in October and I'm really getting bored with the color. I want something a lot lighter for the summer such as a light brown or a blonde but I don't know how to get rid of the black. It had faded a lot but not as much as I want it to and I know I can't dye a lighter color over it so what do I do?

Banana0217, do not try to color your hair yourself. It is difficult to lighten black hair to blonde without turning it red or orange. Since you have a permanent color on your hair, a color remover product is needed to remove the dye. I recommend that you see a professional. They will be able to remove the color and pre-lighten your hair to a yellow stage, then apply a toner.
