    Eviction confusion
My family is in a lease option. We have paid our rent on time, early every month however our landlords are in a civil dispute between the two of themselves. Our lease has us paying our rent to the trust. Mrs. fired Mr. from his position of trustee. 4 days later he quick claimed deeds of their properties into a friend of his name. Her attorney told me to continue paying the trust which we did. Now we are receiving voicemails and letters and three day notices in the mail from him. Her attorney tells me call the police for harassment not to worry case they have lis pendants on the property. What do I do I am scared and do not have 1300.00 to give him and I have two little kids??

    Hello lost:

Mr. and Mrs. are STILL your landlords. I wouldn't get into the middle. If you're listening to HER attorney, you're getting in the middle. If you do that, and HE winds up winning, you're going to be in trouble...

Therefore, you should get YOUR OWN attorney to protect YOUR interests, which are different that either one of theirs.

Don't be scared. If you have a GOOD agreement, it protects you. If you don't, then you should have.
