    If I use propane to heat my house can I use same furnace and convert to electric

    Not that I`ve ever heard of,, wait for others to answer,, thinking about it,, they might make some kind of conversion kit that would put a elect. Heating element into your plenium and the blower from your old furnace could blow across it,, don`t think it would be very efficient.

    NO. The unit will not be listed or labeled for that usage and you home owners insurance will not cover in case of a fire..

On the thermostat of our Carrier 8000 weather maker, it shows E.heat and or Aux heat. Does this mean the propane has been bypassed and we are now using all electric for heat? We would love to get rid of propane and just use electric.
