    I would like to find my father
    I am looking for a man named Keith Hopkins. He is somewhere between 56 and 58 now. In 1975-76, he was in the navy, stationed in Norfolk, VA. And he originates from Missouri. I don't have much more useful information than that to offer.

    I'm getting extremely frustrated. The ones that I have found don't really match as their ages are off, or they just don't give the information that I can use to even make some kind of contact. I thought the fact that he was in the navy would have made it easier to find him, but I guess I was wrong.

    Can anyone give me some ideas on where else to look?

    If you go to superpages there are a few Keith Hopkins listed in Missouri.

    You may try ordering a birth certificate for him. Google for Missouri department of vital records. I would put in his name and approximate year of birth. Make a note that you are requesting your bioligical father's birth certificate for genealogical searches.

    I believe they will search a 10 year span for the same price, is how it used to be.

    Do you mind sharing where you search military records at, if you can? I am doing genealogy in my spare time, a place to search military records could help me. I use one place, but their military records aren't complete.
