    Wiring a AOS fan motor
    I replaced my old fan motor with a AOS fan motor with white,black,brown,brown w/white stripes where do they go? My Previous fan motor had yellow and brown wire-nut together,purple,orange and black wires.

    Fan motor!, are you talking about the one in the furnace/airhandler, or the one outside in the condenser/ac ? If the condenser fan motor the black and white wires will go to the contacter for power, the br. And br/wht wire will go to the new capiciter that you should have bought that matches the motor, the size capiciter will be written on side of motor along with the wireing instructions
