    Carburetor removal
I have a Weedeater brand lawnmower and I am trying to remove the carburetor to replace the diaphram, the local shop told me this would work. I have removed the 5 screws around it but is still won't come off. Am I missing something.

I think you have mis-identified the carburetor. I am not familiar with your particular brand but all small engine carburetors I have ever seen are held by two bolts or two nuts on studs. Carburetors do not have diaphrams as far as I know.
