Not much info there to go on

    What is slow?

    Is this something new?

Do web pages switch easily once online?

Any changes that either happened or that you perhaps made to your computer around the time that the problem started; particularly any software or hardware that you installed or setup

The more info given, the better chance in suggesting some things

This happens maybe every two months... IE gets so o slow to change pages.
and the browser opens and loads extremely slow.
One time I disabled all add-ons and that worked... for 5 minutes, then back to slow again.
Right now though browser is doing OK.--[it's up to normal speed]

Your* OS requires AT LEAST six gigs of ram to function properly. Unfortunately for you your hardware has four gigs of address space only some of which is ram.

    * unless you are using vista 64 bit.. in which case you will experience driver trauma

Install as much ram as your motherboard or OS can address and try again
