    Any ever used Adequan?
I've been vet shopping, and have found one (finally!) that has been recommended by several people, has good office staff, and adequate parking. Had Trink in for a meet and greet, etc. and got talking about maintenance care of her disk problem. It's mostly resolved, but there are still days when she seems to have some "discomfort"... slower to get up, not as lively, just slightly off. The vet suggested trying Adequan, which is an injected sulfated glycosamine, currently approved for treating arthritis in dogs. However, there appears to be a fair amount of anecdotal off-label usage of it in treating disk problems. And the general consensus seems to be that it may help, and won't hurt. Has anyone else ever used this? I'm looking to see what sort of experience other people have had.
