    Share internet in network and control it
    I have internet connection in my PC
    And I have two lan card
    Num1 for my internet connection
    Num2 for my network group

    I share internet with all group in xp

    But I need control it just need one or two only can use internet from my PC
    But other can't just see shre files

    I hope to find answer here

    How many computers in your network ?

    Do you have any switch or router ?

    You can control it by using MMC and Group Policy. If you use Server and Active Directory , you can set the Group Policy in Server. If not , you need to set the Group Policy and MMC in all computer .

    OK I have 7 PC in my network

    3 I need to share internet and files with them

    Other need to share files only

    My neet work like this

    Router > my computer > switch > -Pc -Wireless Access Point> 6 PC

    My computer have to lan card
    One come from router
    One out to switch

    I have windows xp sp2
    All PC have windows xp sp1 or sp2 or sp3

    How I can do this if there is software or how do this with windows xp

    You set the MMC on that other PCs that you don't want to let them use the internet..

    Instead of sharing the Internet through your PC, you should let your router perform this function. You could then offload some of the other functions your PC is attempting to do such as DHCP and routing. The router does a much better job of it.

    Then setup your router security to so that it allows the MAC address of the computers you want to allow Internet access and the other MAC addresses will be blocked.
