    Un Allocated hard drive
    Hi all
    I have installed a new 80 GB hard disk into my computer and the machine recognised it but I can't find it at ( My Compter ).
    I tried disk management and it was saying ( Un allocated ).
    Any suggestions.

    You need to first make sure its recognized in your CMOS settings. Enter Setup during the boot process and check. Then you need to use FDISK to create a partition on the drive so Windows will recognize it and format it.
