Firefox and PDFs
Been test driving FF about a month now. I do like the tabbed browsing but don't like the way it handles cache.. . anyway, I digress.
Whenever I click on a PDF link a new page opens but it's blank and FF is telling me it's Done.
Searching "pdf" in FF Help nets zero. I'm assuming it's something simple but am just not finding it.
Can anyone help this this FF noob out?
Thanks!

Make sure you are running the latest version of acrobat reader and you should be fine. (should be 7.0.7)
The only thing I've found is that it can sometimes take a while to render the pdf in the browser window.
All the plugins you'll ever need are Here

Make sure you have all the updates for it, under Help > updates and you should be fine

Try forcing the file association:
Tools > Options > Downloads > View and Edit Actions

Ben, I'm up to date (I'm set for auto updates... and did check to be sure)
Need, I checked there and see that my actions are correctly set to open PDF with Adobe Acrobat.
Tried kicking my 'puter too. It didn't help

What about trying to associate with Reader just as a troubleshooting step?

Boy, they're packin a lot of junk with Reader nowadays: by default it tries to install Yahoo Toolbar and Photoshop Photo Album... sheesh.
Anyway, I installed Reader 7.0.7 and selected it for the default program for PDFs... and same thing. Just a blank screen when trying to go to
http://www.heritage.nsw.gov.au/docs/...gue&groove.pdf
... so then went into FF and changed the Association to Reader: Now it works no problem.
Thanks, Need!

Blocked PDFs

I'm going nuts  and am hoping someone might be able to pinpoint my problem for me.
My browsers won't let me look at or download PDFs. I'm thinking I must have some security setting ticked that is the problem. On Mozilla I get a blank white screen that says "This object has been blocked"...
