    Dore Centre Programme
    Hi,
We have a 9 year old son with learning difficulties. We have also been told he has adhd but he won't take any medication, trying to get him to swallow the tablets is just to stressful for him and us.
We have been looking into the dore centre drug free programme, but cannot make our minds up.
If anyone out there has been on the programme or knows of anyone please can you leave us some feedback, (positive or negative) thank you

Hi, I am a special education teacher, and have seen many adhd kids not on meds and it really affects their progress academically. I do have a suggestion about your problems of getting your son to take his pill. They now have a patch that you can have him wear with the medication that he needs. I can't remember the name of it. It is fairly new, and a parent of one of my students says it has been a life saver.

    Hi
We have a son who has ADHD and we signed him up with the Dore program 2 years ago. The program has not been of NO benefit to him. We have complained to the Dore Centre only to be told that it takes time. We have done the exercises with him religiously morning and evening for the last 2 years and have seen no positive changes in concentration, behaviour, reading, writing or spelling. Quite honestly we feel the program is a waste of time and a lot of money. I only hope that I am not too late in warning you.
