The home I'm renting has been forclosed on.
I rented a home through property management. I was notified by the bank today that it has been forclosed on. I was never notified by property management or the landlord.
    What are my rights?

Your rights vary by state, county and even municipality. You need to check with a local source to find out what they are.

What is the current status, is the foreclosure first starting, or has the home already been sold?

Basically you have no rights, once the house sells they can evict you.
You need to find out if the landlord is going to be able to save the property, remember merely starting foreclosure does not mean it will end up being sold, many properties are saved at some point in the process.

If you are merely renting ( not in a lease) I would give notice and move.

Here in Las Vegas, this problem has been covered continually by our local news. Your rights are just about nil. Once the bank forecloses, you get evicted. I think I would withhold any rent payments. Obviously the management company has used the rent for purposes other than making the payments. You are probably going to lose your deposits. Keep all your money for the new place to live. Stay in the house as long as you can. Force them to evict you. Move most of your stuff to storage so in case you get locked out, you don't lose your stuff. But I would stay until the marshall gave me the choice of leaving or jail. Then I would move.

You cannot, legally, withhold your rent payments. Until the property officially changes hands you are obligated to pay rental under the terms of your lease. At best, you might be able to make the rent payments to an escrow account pending resolution of the foreclosure.

You said "I was notified by the bank today that it has been forclosed on". This could mean they they started or completed the foreclosure process. So you need to get the exact status.
