All (internal and external) hard drives have become inaccessible
    Help!
I have tried to format a new external disk that gave errors so I tried using several programs from a disk that I have. Result is that now when I go to ´MY COMPUTER´ I do not see any of my hard disks, not the internal nor the external ones. They are there when I look Administrative Tools-Disk Management but I seem to be denied access to them. Any ideas will be greatly appreciated!

Let's start with the easiest steps... rebooted, right?

Also, activate the FIND NEW HARDWARE option in the control panel might wake them up.

Next, SYSTEM RESTORE back to a week or so ago...

    I'll keep thinking.

When you say internal and external do you mean everything. Hard drive? CD/DVD ROM Drive, Floppy (if applicable), external HDD's?
