    Motion to dismiss
    I was served for credit card debt, I filed my answer in the time allotted.
    I have since requested a motion to dismiss. Will the court answer my motion before the hearing or the day of? MI Venue

    Well, you don't request a motion to dismiss; you file a motion to dismiss, along with a certificate of service, and serve the plaintiff with a copy. The motion is ordinarily scheduled for a hearing at a given date and time; you may have to schedule the hearing and provide the plaintiff with that info, also.
