My girl friend wants to leave me and I know that a lot of it is from her family influnces . I'm trying my hardest to win her back, but I think she has her mind made up. I'm hurting so much that I'm letting my emotions get the best of me. The cops were already called because we were aruging pretty loudly. I just don't want to let her go?

Fighting and arguing will get you nowhere. You can't force her to stay, and you are making matters worse by trying to do that. You can't keep someone who doesn't want to be with you. You just can't.

Leave the situation alone for now. Let her come to you, if and when she wants to. Don't try to contact her, and give her the space she needs. When it comes down to police involvement, the family situation you mentioned will only get worse. Not a good move on your part or hers, but you should've been the bigger person and walked away.

When you honestly and accurately present to a girl who you are and what you have to offer her, and she still leaves for whatever reason, what more can you do?

Make sure you've given it your best shot, don't take it lying down, but don't be psycho-creepy guy either. Do it all, make sure she knows what you need her to know about you and your commitment to her.

If she leaves anyway, you can hold your head high, no failure here at all. In fact, it's her loss, right? Hard? I know, but you can do it.

Does no good to hold on to someone that doesn't want to be with you. That's so unhealthy, and as you see could land you in jail.

Leave her alone, Accept that its over, and your going to live with it, or get some professional help.
