    Antique silver tea set

I have recently purchased a silver tea set from an estate sale for my mother as a birthday gift. I am having and extremely hard time finding out about the silversmith mark on the pieces. I do not have any pictures as yet, but would like to see if anyone else might know, or have an idea, as to how one would go about finding such a thing.

The mark is in a round oval with Roman Silversmith EPO. Each piece is numbered.
If any of you could help me out, please, any help would be appreciated greatly. I would love to be able to give my mother a little history on the set, if at all possible.

    Thank you in advance,

    Hi Sissy,
Without a picture, it is hard to know what to look for. If possible, can you provide a photo of the item. This link is for one of many sites for silvermarks. You said it was a Roman silversmith. --- Ace.

Does the set that you have look like any of those that you might find on the pages of the following image search? If so, which one(s), please?

    Thanks!

How do I antique after painting? [ 1 Answers ]

I recently used an antiquing kit from Rustoleum's American Accents collection and the look is awful. The base coat is ivory and the stain top coat is a brown color. It doesn't look antiqued to me, it just resembles an off white color that someone threw muddy water on. After reading online...
