    Stormspotters
    Where can I find info on stormspotter classes for free offered in or near to the Berea, KY area, I have very limited transportation, (my feet), and want to eventually become a storm chaser.

    You will need to take earth science and Meteorology classes at your local university.

    You may try contacting someone who works in that field and see if you can go with them on some trips.

    Go to www.nws.noaa.gov, then click on KY, to go the local NWS site, and look for a link that says "stormspotting classes" or "contact us" and see when the next session is. Here are some other links that may be of interest to you... Some of this info may not relate to your location, but a tornado is a tornado... you may find these sights useful regardless...
