    Briggs stratton motor without oil filter
    Hi

    I have just bought a briggs and stratton motor for a sit on lawn mower. It does not have an oil filter, the original motor had an oil filter. Is that normal how does the motor clean the oil without the filter.

    There is nothing to be alarmed about. The presence of the oil filter is not important. The important thing is regular scheduled maintenance of your outdoor power equipment. By following the guidelines for mower maintenance, you will be able to prolong the life of your engine.
