    Section 8
    I am living with my mother in law, who is on section 8. I need to get my own place for my daughter and I. can I apply while living with somebody already on it?

    Be very careful!

    If Section 8 does not know that you are living with her, and you indicate that you are, this could put her in danger of being in violation of the Section 8 rules and regulations.

    Since you will need to provide an address for them to contact you should they need information, or you get approved, you should try to find someone who is not already on Section 8 to stay with while you apply.

    If you did not get yourself added to her lease and notify that you were living there, you could get her evicted for unauthorised tennants
