My friend stayed here in US around 60 days in 2007 and he e-filed the tax by 1040. Is he filed wrong form? He got the refund also. What should he do now? He was on L1 Visa and He was on project assignment for 2 months from one of the indian software company. Thanks and Regards

I am on F1 Visa status since Dec 2003 and currently on OPT. I went through the instructions in details, at: http://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/i1040nr.pdf On page 2 of 45, I pass the substantial presence test. Does that mean this makes me "resident alien for tax puproses" and I can fill 1040. ...
