    History of my property
I'm really interested in finding out the history of my house - like, who's lived in it and when and why they moved out or if they died, that kind of thing. Anyone know how I go about doing this please?

The land records office in your area should be able to provide information on who owned your property previously going back for quite a few years. The Social Security Administration has an on-line death records database that can tell you when a person died-you may be able to match this to the names on the land records. Finding out why previous owners moved out is going to be just about impossible unless you can contact them or someone who knew them.
