Are there any suggestions for the restoration of pigment or color to skin? I have "scarring" or lack of color due to eczema.

For scarring you can try using Vitamin E oil. The best one is to use from the capsules.

Hyperpigmentation is inflammation in the skin. For example some people may have "sun spots" or "age spots" your skin is "scarred" from this trauma (sun or life! Or something else) Dr. Andrew Weil ( a harvard trained medical doctor and botanist) has a lot of products that use natural ingredients to calm the inflammation in your skin. He also has something called the "anti inflammation diet" the foods you eat can help too (it works for more than just hyperpigmentation) for example I had horrible acne,( a more obvious form of inflammation), I also had dark spots left over that are practically gone now. Origins sells his products Origins | Welcome to Origins they are in a lot of major department stores. Also it is so important to exfoliate (scrub) your skin, otherwise the product is just absorbed into your dead skin not the problem skin you want to fix. Try modern friction from origins it is an at home microdermabrasion system.

Depigmentation using household products? [ 6 Answers ]

This may sound insane, and I don't think I'm ready to try it, but I was just wondering if there are any household products (i.e. cleaning chemicals, bleaches) that can induce a decrease in pigment, possibly a permanent one, if applied to the skin? Of course the product would also have to be safe...
