    Where can I get a replacement reverse switch for my ceiling fan? I already tried Lowe's

    And with a lot of extra work and wiring, Radio Shack. The switches Radio Shack sells don't have tapped holes, so installation is difficult. Replacement switches have the tapped holes and flying leads.

    Plenty of hardware stores have them, as well as the ceiling fan dept of Menards and Lowe's. It's a standard DPDT slide switch rated at 120vAC and at least 2 amps.

I just bought a house and 1 fan is in reverse. I can't find a switch on the fan and there's no reverse on the remote. This is a Hampton Bay fan. The remote says it's model: UC7083T. I also thought there must be a trick with the remote.
