    My snapper 8horsepower rider mower runs hot and quits running why?

    Why does my snapper 8 horsepower rider mower run hot and stop running?

    Could be the coil getting hot and breaking down. You may need a new coil. And if you have the old points system, have them put a solid state coil on the engine for you.
