    Weakened gag reflex
    Hey I have a weakened gag reflex and am having difficulty swallowing and coughing aftgerwards what is my nursing diagnosis

    The diagnosis is dysphagia. Differential diagnosis includes: TIA, MS, esophageal tumors, damage from reflux (GERD), strep pharyngitis, cardiac or psychiatrically related issues.
