    I don't know much about probiotics. They are diatary supplements containing
    Potentially beneficial bacteria or yeasts .

    When my children had problems with Diarrhea I fed them cheese. It seemed to work well.

    Blueberries also work pretty good.

    When my children were babies,they would have a about of diaarhea,my mother showed me how mix up flour and water and let them drink it. About a tablespoon of flour to half cup of water. It tastes nasty but it works.{ just a tidbit of old mountain remedies}

    Probiotics are capsules that contain all the necessary good bacteria for your intestines. You can get probiotics at health food stores. This will take away the chronic diahrrea symptoms. If you keep taking immodium that only masks the problem and does not clear the problem from your intestines. It's like the active cultures in yoghurt only better.
