Years ago I saw part of a movie where this evil Queen/Witch/Sorceress is killed. What I remember about it is that it was almost certainly a child's fantasy movie: The Queen was killed, and her hand was nearly crushed or severed, or actually was in either case, while trapped in a tube. The tube (cylinder) descended on her and she either suffocated or, and, aged to death in the tube. I think she was after some kids.

I've ruled out Red Sonya and The Masters of the Universe, which have both been suggested to me. The plot, as barely as I can remember it, is reminiscent of the Snow Queen, but I don't remember snow in the scene, and she looked more like the Queen from Disney's Snow White or its Cinderally incarnation. I would need a picture of the scene to know quickly if any of your answers are correct.
