    Which laptop
    Hi I am Claire,
    I want a laptop for making home movies and I want to know what is the best one to get. I want good graphics, large memory and very portable. Any advice would be great.

    For what your looking for, you should be considering a Mac Powerbook.

    Video editing is much easier on a Mac.
    Remember to get at least 1Gig of RAM, and the largest hard drive you can.

    It all really depends on your budget.
    As usual go for the highest spec you cash will allow.
    Also what you more comfortable with using will make a difference, i.e. Mac or PC.
    A very important question to ask yourself is "Do I really need a laptop", when a desktop unit at the same price would generally be more powerful.

    Totally agree with Curlyben.. a desktop is a much better choice... unless you're a traveling video editor.. if so this is the new kid on the block
