    Antique wedding ring markings
I've just bought an antique wedding ring -- I'm told that it's from the 30's-50's. My jeweler thinks that the markings are european, but isn't certain. I'd love to find out more about its origin.

The markings say that it's 0.900 Plat and 0.100 Irid. On the opposite side of the band, there are 4 symbols. From left to right, there are:

    L
The profile of an animal, all four legs down.
    B
    A five-or-six pointed star.

    Thanks much for any input!
