    80's movie about ghosts
    Just had clips of this movie stuck in my head and need to find out what it's name is.

    It starts with a boy getting attacked by some unknown man at his school. I think he fell asleep and got locked in or something. Also I think he saw the ghost of a boy before he was attacked.

    Also there's a story line where another boy is found dead and a black man is accused. He's later acquitted but is shot by the dead boy's mother.

    The ending has the ghost boy being reunited with his ghost mother and they float off together.

    I remember seeing this on HBO in the 80's.

    Sounds like LADY IN WHITE 1988. Starring Lukas Haas.
    Locked in a school closet during Halloween 1962, young Frank witnesses the ghost of a young girl and the man who murdered her years ago. Shortly afterward he finds himself stalked by the killer and is soon drawn to an old house where a mysterious Lady In White lives. As he discovers the secret of the woman he soon finds that the killer may be someone close to him.

    That's the one!

    Wow, my memory must be eroding. I must have been thinking about another movie and mashed it up with Lady in White.

    Oh, after I answered your question... I went and watched it on YouTube. The entire movie was there in 9 minute segments. I hadn't watched it in awhile.
