    You can get a cheaper but still effective mp3 player... if its just the music u want, then an mp3 player serves the same purpose:)
    If not, then check eBay they might have cheap ipods on there:)

    What makes you think you deserve one? An MP3 player is not a necessity of life.

    As pointed out, you can get MP3 players for under $50.
