    Stain on the concrete
Hi All! It is my fist time here and I am in desperate need of some help. I was staining a footboard next to my door and stain (dark brown) got under the blue tape and stained the concrete (gray, plain one). It looks horrible! Is there anything I can do with it? Thank you for any ideas. Aleksandra.

If you don't come up with a solution you could buy a stencil and some paint and paint something over it. I had stains on my concrete porch that I always wanted to turn into a fall leaf painting but I ended up moving anyway.

Part of the trouble with concrete is it is porous and the material soaks into it, esp if the concrete was not sealed well.

We have used a acid to etch the concrete before and also a hydrogen chloride solution applied in several applications.

Try mineral spirits. Blot, don't wipe, several applications, might not get it all but will minimise.

A motorized wire brush might help as well.

Pouring Concrete Slap over Concrete piers [ 1 Answers ]

I drew a fairly detailed drawing of the slab that I wanted, with the piers (flagpole support piers, with pipes down to put poles into) shown so they could do it all in one pour.
