    Triangle dot on gold ring
I have an old ring that has been tested to be 14kt and platinum. There are no markings inside the ring except for a triangle that comprises 3 dots. Anyone know what that means?

The 3 dots in a triangle is the hall mark symbol, don't worry it's a genuine ring.

Triangle with three dots inside is similar to the chester hallmark symbol.
