    If you are referring to the song "I'd Do Anything for Love (but I won't do that)", the whole song is referring to her accusation that he will be "screwing around", which the whole song is built around. Until this last part of the song, it keeps you in suspense as to exactly what he wouldn't do. It almost makes you think he would not go all the way with her for love, as if he is not totally sure about going that far yet. It becomes clear at the end that he would not find another woman, or cheat, or "screw around" to find "other" love. Referring to a love other than her.

    Girl : I know the territory - I've been around,
    It'll all turn to dust and we'll all fall down,
    And sooner or later you'll be screwing around.

    Boy : I won't do that!
    I won't do that!

    Anything for love, I would do anything for love,

    (what Meatloaf would do in real life, I don't know, but as for the song, he is either truly faithful and committed, or he is just lying for love)

    With all due respect to the above's research on the song. I think it means he will not let her reverse their rolls in the bedroom, y'know, her in the "position" of control... lol!

    This is a joke:) It has nothing to do with the song but the next time you hear it you may give it a thought and surely you will laugh.
