Is the fireplace one that is usable as a fireplace for building a fire? Are you wanting to cover over the opening of the fireplace?

Yes, we do need more info. I can't tell if you aretrying to hide and cover up the entire fireplace or if you just want to create a new fasade instead of brick.

I built a wood fire place once... it burnt for 2 hours... then was all gone. No more fire place... yes more info needed.
