    Black heads
My husband has several VERY big blackheads (or what looks like blackheads) on his back that just will NOT go away. When mashed very little if anything comes out. They have been there literally for years. How can we get these things to go away? Thank you.

You should try opening the pores by putting a warm washcloth over the area. Try a blackhead removing scrub like Biore'. They have a self heating one that works wonders. Blackheads are just dirt and oil that clog a pore, so opening the pore with heat and using a fairly mild cleanser should do it. Be careful with the mashing. You can end up with an area that is inflamed. Once you have the pore cleaned out and the blackhead itself is removed, put an astringent like Seabreeze or witchhazel on his back every day or so to keep it clear. The back is one of the hardest areas of the body to really wash well. So, try scrubbing his back for him. :)
