Hi, I really need help on an extra credit assignment that will bring up my grade. PLEASE HELP. I will really benefit. There are only 5 questions

    1. A soccer player kicks a ball at an ange of 37 degrees above the horizontal with an initialspeed of 50 ft/s. Find the time it takes to reach the highest point of its trajectory. How high does the ball go? What is the horizontal range of the ball? How long is the ball in the air?

    2. A ball rolls off the edge of a horizontal table top 4 feet high. If it strikes the floor at a point 5 feet horizontally away from the edge of the table, what was its speed at the instant it left the table.

    3. A shell is fired horizontally froma powerful gun located 144 feet above a horizontal plane, with a muzzle velocity of 800 ft/s. How long does the shell remain in the air? What is its range? What is the magnitude of the vertical component of its velocity as it strikes the target?

    4. A football is kicked off with an initial speed of 64 ft/s at an angle of 45 degress above the field. If the kickoff is from the 35 yard line, where will the receiver atch the ball (on what yard line0?

    5. A ball is tssed horizontally with a velocity of 15 m/s from a height of 100 m above the ground. How long will it take for the abll to hit the ground? How far horizontally will it travel before hitting the ground? What would its vertical velocity be before hitting the ground?

:) It would be amazing help if I can get this questions answered asap. Please it will bring my grade from a B to an A. Thank you.

    These are all simply solvable.

You need to separate the horizontal and vertical velocities, then apply gravitation to the vertical velocity, and in some cases you need to use trigonometry again to get the final speed.

If you have specific problems then please ask us specific questions. We cannot help you to get a better grade without you doing any of the work.

Hello, I've had many ideas and have paid marketing firms like ISC (Invention Submission Corp) only to loose money. Now I know the simpler the concept the better your chances to get a patent. How may I get an engineer to help me with the mechanical aspect of my invention concept.
