People can be attracted, at first sight, but it doesn't mean things will be lovely forever.

I believe it is how you conceptualize the word love. I also think its how you also decipher what love means in the short and long term, as well as how it manifests. I think that love can happen in a moment yes, but can it sustain? Well, that again is how one defines and determines "love". In my experience, I believe that there is immediate attraction, and for some, some... there is love in the first moment of meeting someone. But again... how are we defining love?

If you are so detached from the real world and without logical thoughts, then yes, I think you could believe in love at first sight. There is definitely lust at first sight... but love? Maybe just in the movies.
And Chuff brings up a good point. Can there be hate at first sight? Maybe for bigots and racists, but people who aren't as judgmental won't hate someone at first sight...

Nope.
"Love" at first sight is the misinterpretation of lust at first sight.

I believe in love at first sight.
I knew the moment I saw my husband that I would marry him one day. I knew this before even speaking to him. It was like a gut instict that just told me that he was going to be the man I'd marry.
Sure enough, 8 years after meeting him, we got married.

I believe in : intuition, infatuation, lust, curiousity, respect, amazement, desire, intrigue, charisma, karma, compatibility, like, want, covetuousness, but I still do not believe anyone can truly love someone they do not know.
My husband rearranged his life to be near me after meeting me once.
I told him he was rushing things and let him chase me a year and a half 'till I caught him. It was worth it! He was my prom date in 1965 and my love ever since.

Nope.
Don't believe in it. But then, I'm pretty cynical about love. I don't even believe in being "in love". For me there's one kind of love; to friends, family, lovers, and even to some extent to the everyday stranger.
There are degrees of affection and certain types of behaviour and expectations that come with certain types of relationship, but for me, love is something that grows over time, and can transcend all manner of relationships.
