Our relationship got off to fast and now the spark is gone, what should I do?
So I've been dating this guy for about 2 and a half weeks and it seems like the spark that I used to feel just being in his company is gone. I don't get all warm and tingly when he holds my hand or kisses me anymore, it just feels normal, like he's just a friend. I don't know what to do because I really like him and wish that that spark was still there. Like today when he was hanging out in my dorm, and we were doing stuff not sex, just like kissing and making out, I didn't get turned on at all. I think we may have gone too fast with everything. Also I am unsure about how strong his feelings are for me. Also he is pledging for a fraternity so that takes up a lot of his time, I think it will get better when he has more time I'm not sure.

Novelty wears off fast in certain relationships... Trying going a few days without speaking to or seeing him and perhaps the spark will reignite.

How long did you know him before dating?
If you didn't know him very well before, that may be the prob. Now it's boring because you two skipped the first step... I may sound like a prude because of this next statement but this type of situation is the main reason why I think people should wait a little while to have sex/heavy making out/petting etc. in relationships... I mean, sure you have fun the first couple weeks but when all of the hot steamy fun wears off what do you have? You barely know each other and most devastating you're not even friends (atleast if you're friends you can enjoy random eventless occasions with each other)...
I don't know... I might be way off base with this one, I may need a little more info to be truly helpful, but it sounds like it was over before it started but if you want to work it out just try relating on a friendship level... focus on getting to know each other finding out why you like each other (things other than physical aspects)... find things both of you like to do and plan dates! Honestly this shouldn't be a problem after 2 weeks though so really think about it!

Infatuation (what you describe) is usually short-lived.

It's OK that this happened. The reason you date people you like is to find out just how much you inspire and enhance each other in all areas. With him, it wore of rather quickly. That's unusual, but not the least bit worrisome.

Well, it's not worrisome as long as you're honest about it and tell your "bro" the truth. Wasting his time is wrong. Wasting yours as well.
